That is a good thing having a stop loss and I would never advise against taking it if hit - must preserve capital.

However - once hit and taken be alert to the possibility that insto's know these types of levels and if they can drop 2 or 3 million into a market and pick up 10 million at around the same level - they will do it.

Just means that you might have to be prepared to pay more if you want back in (insurance in case it doesn't bounce) or walk away and say in 2 years time 'damn - I sold that at 12 cents:( and didn't but back).
