What that did not fully clarify is the "actual fuel price (after conversion of yellow cake (U3O8) and refinement into UF6), the precursor is made into the fuel pellets that are assembled in racks during refueling a reactor. The cost of refining the mine-produced yellowcake to the fuel precursor (UF6) ranges from
2.7 times that of yellowcake during high prices to about 3.0 times during the current low prices of mine produced yellowcake"
