Whilst you reasonably point out the apparent inequity of press coverage, and interpret that as lack of concern for human plight there are practical limitations to your argument.

Leaving aside exported terrorism, the "cruellness" and "atrocities" Muslims inflict on Muslims is mind numbing and speaking only for myself it jades my views on Islam being a viable religion, let alone a supposedly peaceful one. Islam needs its reformation imo.

I agree with you, but who are we going to get to fight our wars over in the middle east if Islam has its reformation ?
