A wafer is actually a sheet of around 100 chips, yet to be sliced and diced.
The chip won't be packaged etc.
It will just be available to hear in the clean room, assuming it tests to spec.
A packaged chip will take some time to complete.
The issue is the tests to spec bit.
Fred stated at the agm last yr he was 100% certain the last chip would work.
