yeh i agree with the liquidity issue. as for the lapse since friday, well to be honest i have a good and a bad theory.
the good theory is that it was accumulation (most likely sentient) with a long term view. this would see more ranging between 1.4 and 1.6 until volume builds and thus far fits the last two days perfectly (ie nothing dramatic either way).
the second theory would have been a third party pump and dump. which would have seen either a manipulated run and dump, or as was the case, a failed run (external circumstances) and continued manipulation (not so apparent).
so i am going with theory number one. most likely we will see controlled buying up until the next ann. on namibia, and then perhaps a bit of smoke and mirrors to keep the sp above 2cents for good.
