I would have thought it's by now pretty obvious. A wise investor (shall remain unnamed) once said - "wealth is the transfer of money (or shares in this case) from the impatient to the patient"

The constant negative posting sets a sentiment of doom and gloom for those who either don't know better or are unable to find the answers or simply let fear dictate their actions. And hence sell down their holdings when the time is to buy.

Making money in the stock market requires an inverse thought process. Buy when fear is prevalent and sell when jubilation is running hot. Many people struggle with this because it's unnatural for people to think in this way much less act in it.
