Companies like GXY and GMM would not have dealt with anyone in China before and since Mitsubishi is a world reknown name they would have initially appointed them for China....this is not an unusual step...
Many coal miners here have done the same even for India where sales cannot be transacted through other parties , partly because when you open the doors its like a floodgate ...can you imagine them getting 100 enquiries to buy Lithium??
GXY and GMM would have limited resources to handle all this...
