IMO main thing is that they are running and getting their ship filled. I'm sure a boatload of lithium ore will find a home at a desirable price.
More than anything I wish Australia could do more of the processing internally as we're really getting paid peanuts (and now a few cashews) for what is a hugely marked up end product.
A single small LiPO battery for a quadcopter $89!!!! for what probably has $0.50 of lithium in it.
