I know they both have the cash. Galaxy has a good deal of losses to offset also so it might be more an advantage to General Mining? Though if they were going to do it that way they would just adjust the contract accordingly and let the market know that these are the new terms.

I am hoping the processors are wanting a new deal with a more ongoing arrangement. Many of them have a big beef with the majors who cut them out of spodumene leaving them high and dry. If they could join with a new company and create a new major it would be a win win all round. Though, general mining says it's the same terms but until we see the announcement I'll keep speculating and enjoy seeing what others come up with.

I don't think there would be any possibility of a negative result.
