Fair comment on the 4 well option, with KAR presumeably being "greater in knowledge" to determine their preferred well location further down the track.
The point of my earlier post was that the dispute with NXS etc., was unlikely to effect any drilling contract/programme dates.
Completion of BOTH K-1 and P-2 will obviously take a considerable amount of time.
Hence, the next thing to consider then is when the "minimum term of 148 days" drilling contract started and when will it end?
OR Does this "minimum" term allow for extension of the 148 days?
IMO if KAR request an extension, this extension would be likely to be agreed to by Sedco.
