Really there's only 2 possibilities with regard to the fact that they reported no oil/water contact.
Either they hit TD and were still within a reservoir section in which case they will drill on further down.
Or, they drilled past the last expected reservoir section where they would have exoceted to find the oil/water contact but there was none meaning there is another reservoir section below.
Both are good! And then add in the previous interpretation that they may not have drilled in the centre of the upside down cup.
