As I thought, a nitpicker!
As I am sure you realise, the phrase is 'shorthand' for eating sensibly (which includes spacing meals in a way that is efficient). For most people, and by way of convention this usually means 3 meals a day. Obviously there is no particular logic in this, because it could be 2 or it could be 5 or 6.
But it matters NOT whether it is 2, 3 or 6 in terms of the point I was making!
The point was, simply, that the constantly repeated proposition that there is something inherently wrong with the need to repeat interventions is just plain stupid!
There is hardly anything in human affairs that doesn't require repetition.
It is just as stupid as attacking statins for cholesterol control. Why do people have to take statin 'boosters' every day? What an outrage!
Now there, run along Mr nit_picker! Too much of a time-waster!
