Governments come and go, deals are always being made, we cannot just disconnect gas from our economy it just wont go down with the public or business. So gas will be here for awhile, maybe once we have the ability to generate/provide enough energy for our industries and public 24 hours a day we can look at getting rid of gas. but i dont see that happening for awhile.
