Capman, I agree with you, I think they will strike while the iron is hot.
I did state in an earlier post that I thought VCR would require about $80 million to complete all clinical trials but I don't think that they will do a rights issue for $36 million to boost their cash to the $80 million just yet. There will be plenty of opportunities for that further down the track.
They will probably offer existing shareholders a parcel of 5000 shares or perhaps a pro rata entitlement.
I think the price is a chance to drop to about the $2.60 to $2.80 region over the next few days. However it may drop further after the entitlement date, if there is one, has passed.
