That may well be true, though I do have and watch a number of other stocks (some of which are not yet producing) yet their share prices can follow the commodity price. There are of course many other factors affecting a stock price, including macroeconomic factors and market sentiment...and there has been a fair bit of nervousness around regarding bond yields and the impact on interest rates and that impact on equities. My personal opinion is we will see more growth before any correction, but I emphasise that is just the position I have settled on for now. Typically I don't "trade" as such and normally take a long term position. As previously stated, I am hoping for a positive EXIM decision to be announced soon.
