I think you'll find more than ever that established mining companies are buying into exploration plays because it is much cheaper to do that than takeover an established company. And it is still a gamble based on the potential for finding more reserves.

Obviously many tonnes at 4% Zn isn't attractive.

Ok then tell me why FMG wasn't taken over for pennies a share in 2004? And tell me why you think there is a possibility EXIM will offer finance if it's a dead project? Surely they would find that out during their lengthy due diligence if even Football can deduce this? If you're so sure IBG is dead in the water then sell out first thing Monday morning. You won't do it. You're scared that we are right and you are wrong about IBG's upside potential.
