A good day for AJA's share price, up 1.5c with volume slightly above average. Is it a good lead to the re-valuation results? Interesting...
Came across the results of another JREIT fund, which has a 22.85% gain from a year ago, while the Tokyo Stock Exchange REIT Index returns a 11.82% gain. (Source: http://www.lupusalpha.at/content.aspx?menu=196,211,213,353#)
Looking back at AJA, the share price is down 20% (roughly) from 30/6/2009. IMHO, AJA's business is doing reasonably well, in the past year, the management did a decent job: refinanced loans, maintained a relatively high occupancy rate, paid a juicy distribution to the holders. I just don't understand the slump share price. I suspect it may have something to do with listing in ASX, being linked to the BNB, and was removed from ASX200.
Any way, I am not complaining. It is rather a bargain to me. Will accumulate more if the price drop back down a little bit...
Good luck and DYOR.
