This is not my understanding of how Nominee accounts work normally.
Nominee accounts hold shares for clients. These clients often use their full service brokerage and get this "holding" as a service.
The investments are NOT decisions of JPMorgan or HSBC or ....
What you are talking about is more in line with a broker like Euroz, or Cannacord or ....
They work two ways - providing "in house" investment funds for clients to put dollars into (like funds) and recommending stock to clients which the client then buys, sometimes into a Nominee Account.
