The Market already has multi $trillions of fear built into it. Fear of bank foreclosures, fear of loan defaults, fear of company failures, fear of inflation / deflation, fear of maritime piracy, fear of executive greed and corruption, fear of the long term implications of increased public debt, fear of changes needed to address environmental sustainability, .... now 'old news'.

To top up the doom & gloom storyline we now have the media's swine flu pandemic, reports that Obama is about to tell all on extra-terrestrials and of course Collingwood's season-ending loss at the weekend .... all seems lost!

Methinks it's time for a reality check - the Land of Oz still looks & feels like a pretty good place to me; even if CFS prefers to invest in global equities rather than Australian ones [as per today's CBA FUM report].
