For most urban residents switching to a hybrid car will halve their petrol costs. Things like this which significantly reduce our reliance on imported oil need to be started up as soon as possible. If the government funding means Toyota will commence producing and selling these cars sooner than it otherwise would have as was indicated then IMO it is money well spent. Dave R.
