The fact remains the Hybrid Camry is expected to use 6lt per 100km. This still means the larger dedicated LPG vehicle we are already building here is just as friendly to the environment and cheaper on the hip pocket as the smaller car Toyota plan to build.
I do not see how this is smart use of funds.
While I can not substantiate those prius numbers, here is the website where the figures are reported after a real life test as apposed to the controlled environment that I presume came up with 4.4lt.

An injected LPG vehicle will immediately half the emissions of a standard petrol vehicle. Why overlook this just because Toyota never designed the vehicle with LPG in mind?
