I've made the same mistake when i first started buying shares in penny dreadfuls as well. I've leant a hell of a lot reading Hokey's post over the years, and he's been right with all his predictions. But one thing I've learnt the most following the FBR thread over the last couple of years is that you never listen the hype and take any notice of the thumbs up factor on posts.
I know a hell of a lot about the building industry and the Construction of residential and commercial buildings, the only reason I've followed and commented on this thread is to answer some building questions and offer advice on building compliance but the replies usually just turn to insults, just like being called a liar by the great A'nks. We should all learn from this and help each other. Hope everyone gets out of this without losing their shirts.
