This is only a vague memory thought and to be accurate I’d have to do an in depth search, but Hyperinflation only seams to last 4-5 months before it burns out.......... thus your comment about being able to survive with a few months supply of all the essentials and food at home plus a network of friends and like minded people to help you when you are down, so as to get through a tough 6 months or so is spot on.
