    Thanks Bonus, reading that Stirling is breaking down hits home. I had been in the navy for ten years when it was commissioned in 1978.

    Fortunately for me, all of my own systems are still in good working order.

    There was talk about US aircraft carriers, using Stirling as a base for them in the Indian Ocean. I wonder if that is still on the cards?
