checked out aldi today - and they had fillet steak for $27/kg - and looked pleasantly marbled (ok- one could see enough fat) .. one thing for sure that the $27 fillet steak from aldi looked a lot better than the economy fillet steak that watso bought (full price was $41/kg but 75% rtc knocked the price right down) ..
at the other end of the price range was corned silverside at $7.99/kg .. ie $8.00/kg .. and nothing wrong with corned silverside ...
one thing for sure is that it is not the end of the world if the price of beef is sky high ...
lucky for australian meat producers that trump is not still potus - as possibly if he was constipated one day - he might have decided to impose sanctions on australian meat producers selling beef to the chinese
