Okay while the shortage based on the number of homeless people is rubbish to say that there 370 000 or even 290 000 houses are empty just because they are on sale is also rubbish. Unless you can show hard evidence that the majority of these are empty the most likely scenario is the majority will either contain the current owners or renters.
