I should have started asking serious Q's when the announcement came out about the increase to 405,000 carats............ in NO TIME at all, after many of us had been concerned that we would even make it to 200k carats by auction. I did question it silently but didn't act I should have sold enough at 16/20c to free carry, but NO! I was a bit like a deer in the headlights and sat back and did nothing mainly based on the fact that CJ said in a Videoed interview he expected we would average 100 a carat for the original 200k carats. Even if we only sold 150k carats it would still be an acceptable result @ $100 a carat BUT to average $4 a carat for our auction, serious Q's must be asked and answered.
Certainly the ACTUAL QUALITY of the Rubies presented to auction as opposed to what we were supposedlypresented with visually prior to auction definitely gets my hair standing on end???

Now in the scheme of things even if MUS are totally worthless I did not invest heavily..... about 2% of my total portfolio, this may turn out to be a very CHEAP lesson IF I don't do it AGAIN???

Depending on how this all plays out down the track, hopefully this may become a movie that will be made in my lifetime, that might make BLOOD DIAMOND look like kindergarten.

Whatever happens, it's going to be very very interesting trying to get to the TRUTH of what has actually happened.
I HOPE IT HAS A VERY HAPPY ENDING FOR US ALL???

The one I had with CJ in May might now turn out to be an education I've paid a substantial amount for ; along with a lot of others.
We should never stop learning from our own and others experiences GOOD and BAD.

ASX and possibly ASIC as well should be asking some serious questions over what has and is happening at MUS and what should be happening going forward?
I wouldn't mind betting someone like Maurice Blackburn Lawyers could be all over this looking at a possible CLASS ACTION against appropriate parties??? depending on what transpires in the next year???
We live in interesting times and life wasn't meant to be easy.

PS Now all I have to do is think about how I'm going to get that promised RUBY for she who must be obeyed for Xmus. I wonder if I can interest her in a Lithium necklace, especially an AVZ mined GEM. Hopefully that can't come unstuck..............CAN IT???
At least I've learned the lesson and I'm now free carried. Hopefully ML has not led us astray???

Sad really...now looking at the photos again, even my local grocer does a better job at grading his fruits...the best in bin A. The medium in Bin B and the trash in Bin C....and they are priced accordingly.
