after the bushfires are over people will move on and forget and those who didn't forget give up because government doesn't listen to its people anymore. The alternatives are really shit, so LNP wins anyway. Our political system is entirely broken, we're ok spending billions upon billions on imaginary threats yet when it comes to real ones like bushfires where we actually have mass loss of life and property nothing is done, we don't even have money to pay people to put out fires and rely on free/unpaid volunteers
