I'm thinking Infrastructure/Home Storage Batteries could always be Graphite based. Think it is the Weight as well as peak performance that is driving alternatives to graphite in EV's. Weight/Compantness not so vital in these other uses.
It's all in Natural Flake being substituted for Synthetic used currently.
