I read something the other day … was it firefly? can’t remember which company.
they do 3D powder printing, but if they have to make replacement parts for old things (which were cast, not 3D printed), and they don’t have computer models/designs for them, they just 3D scan them and use that to print new ones.
might be something to do with that.
maybe we can print a copy of Hank out of c103
