From the previous research used informing 3DA in their business plan the total US C103 market was somewhere around 110+ or so tonnes pa? So it’s not an enormous quantity.
it would be great to see an update on addressable future C103 tonnes as defense applications go hyper(bole).
However, if i factor in only a minor addressed market share entry on C103 and the remainder is Ti, my price estimate still seems suitably higher than existing price in my model of staged production increases. I assume others see the same or they will not be here.
Of course they need to achieve the contracts to fill. I can imagine the last quarter has been busy with various powder pre-qualifications and parameter definition for the primary powder types to optimize the yields to hit the ground running when contracts received. It will be great to see the next quarterly as to work activities.
