I think 3DP is in a better position than SFI was and the parallels 3DP has with NEA in the way they are going about their business bodes well for the future. 3DP has an expanding client base, breaking into the lucrative US market and a growing ACV with a fantastic and sought after product. SFI was a cheap knock-off of NEA with some disgruntled ex NEA employees. IMO 3DP has a brighter future than SFI did.
If a company was to acquire 3DP I would love it to be NEA but I believe there is still plenty of growth for 3DP.
