What ANALYSIS is there? No deriving of a dtm. No classification of points. No creation of any intelligence? It is display only.
When I think analytics of point clouds I am thinking of stuff waaay beyond displaying a point cloud on a screen.
Like machine learning for cell tower analysis (SiteSee). Classification of points into things like trees, buildings (every man and his dog), deriving a digital terrain model, calculation of building heights, identification of buildings, tree canopy analysis ... on and on.
