MIKOH Corporation Limited today announced that its US subsidiary, MIKOH Corporation, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with 3M Traffic Safety Systems Division (3M).
MIKOH and 3M are collaborating on the pursuit of vehicle-based applications of RFID, focusing on Electronic Vehicle Registration (EVR) and Electronic Vehicle Identification (EVI) systems that require tamper security for the RFID tag. There are immediate EVR opportunities in the Americas. MIKOH and 3M have a formidable EVR technology platform for global adoption that has followed on from MIKOH’s successful delivery of EVR tags for the country of Bermuda in the first half of 2007.
