I would like to agree with you, but you have it wrong - you say "we have 297 shipping days which gives us 297 x 60" - BUT we can only get 28k to the ship each day.
Costs are based on 10mt not just 8m for nameplate..

It is a very serious problem - johnmcgee is far closer to the mark than my scenarios and in fact his overall estimate of poss -400k is optimistic.

It is not a particularly hard problem to fix - just needs a secondary stockpile close to town where trains can operate to at all times or fix the bloody moormaster.
