The other day I posted that PWEP would generate income from Large Scale Generation Certificates (LGC). After further reading, it would appear that is incorrect.
In order to qualify for LGCs, the generation plant has to be greater than 10MW. The current array will not have that capacity, however PWEP should qualify for Small Scale Technology Certificates (STC).
The value of LGCs has just recently increased above the value of STCs for the first time.
There would not appear to be any great urgency to increase the capacity of PWEP above 10 MW while the values of the certificates are so close. If the gap widens substantially, then there would be good reasons to want add capacity for the higher income.
