i think your on the money.....if anyone knows this buissness affairs......its the directors. It makes sense for them to load up and tell there mates and family to load up aswell.
Unless of course they have no friends!(they may have told them to load up when share price was higher)

We can only speculate what Ansteel is telling management...probably to pick up their act.On the issue of the recent SPP ANSTEEL has representatives on the board and they would have had a say in that i would beleive.

If the AUD was lower the share price would rise.
