Hi mictoo,
very nice analysis and interesting reading. Thanks.
Today, I've found the following number: 0.09. The number stands for the EV/Sales ratio of OGC.
"Below are the three companies in the Gold industry with the lowest Enterprise Value (EV) to Sales ratios. EV/Sales gives investors an idea of how much it costs to buy the company's sales and the lower the ratio, the more undervalued the company is believed to be. OceanaGold (NASDAQ:OCANF) is lowest with EV/Sales of 0.09. Following is Golden Star Resources (AMEX:GSS) with EV/Sales of 1.23." Source: fnno.com
For me this number is amazingly low! A ratio of 0.09 means that OGC is generating a sales amount 10 times higher as their own EV! What's the enterprise value of OGC? Is this ratio of 0.09 possible and serious? Any thoughts?
