NOTHING!!!
It zoomed up on the ASX in response to a massive spike on big volume in the US overnight - it then zoomed down again and there was (as far as I could tell) no explanation.
I had assumed that a BIG announcement had been leaked - but nothing came.....
It was a stupendously bad buy!
I should have sold of course but I was too shell-shocked and kept believing that something must have been behind it, but apparently not - a mystery it remains!
After my swag of 1.2c shares (+ oppies) I have accumulated a lot more (not put off by that experience) and I am now very comfortably ahead and looking forward to this stock getting a lot of (my) debt dealt with (as well as it's own of course!).
However it wasn't my life savings as it was for that guy who posted earlier today ....... I'm glad for him that it is working out - I know exactly how horrible he must have been feeling when the wheels fell off. He has been very lucky!
Advice (free) - Guys, if you blow a packet - tell your wife!
Its not worth the suffering as you try to hide and fix it.
21yrs married and recently went through something similar.
Feels so much better to have no skeletons lurking in the closet....
