Of course there are tax implications as well, but I'll let smarter people work out what that might be.
Re a capital raising....does the tight deadline preclude a capital raising, assuming the banks don't budge on that deadline? maybe if they could get it fully underwritten they might be in with a show, but who'd underwrite it in the circumstances?
