With Tesla 3 orders up to 276K already there's just not enough refined lithium; particularly if you include demand from GM, Mercedes, Nissan, BYD etc etc. All here have seen how long it takes to ramp up a brine refinery. You can't just pop one up. The Chinese seem to be locking up most if not all of the Australian spodumene, so the rest of the world will need us to start building Olaroz 2 soon.
When Olaroz 1 is running at full capacity we'll be selling into critically under-supplied market where the cost of our input product is a fraction of final price of the battery. We will easily fund Olaroz 2 without a CR.
IMO $4.92 will be seen as cheap before the end of the year.
