A dead aussie dollar is just as much of a story as the gold price at this stage.
Some technicians and fundamental guys are calling 60c AUD/USD and honestly I dont have anything to counter the thesis. Especially with the "QE" word getting muttered occasionally.
That sort of inflationary pressure is extremely meaningful for an aussie gold miner bull case.
I'll leave someone else to do the modelling on EVN's forecasted margins with that sort of dollar weakness.
