Guys - ISO certification is relatively easy to comply with and only involves a company documenting their procedures and QA processes and following them to the letter in their routine operations. It is not nearly as tight or stringent as either the TGA or FDA approvals because both these organizations have stringent requirements that must be met to gain approval.

So unless the company concerned states in their ISO certified procedures that they must acquire their inputs from ISO certified companies or at a certain grade, then it is totally irrelevant where the goods come from or the grade of the goods as long as it is legal. The production processes, procedures and testing carried out by the company itself would be the basis for the ISO certificate not where the goods come from IMO.

Once the smuggled REO leaves China and is laundered by one or more international party in the supply chain it is doubtful that it could be established where the goods come from. The end user could reasonably claim innocence to any illegality and proving otherwise would be next to impossible IMO...
