program i saw i Sky Business last week was mentioning coal stocks ie: which is better Coking Coal or Thermal Coal.

basically the analyst said "Coking Coal" stocks are the go. He expects to see Thermal Coal produers to struggle with ongoing prices. (his quote "Thermal Coal Prospects competes with Gas Prospects", thus you have a strong competitor)

the stocks which are mentioned have been hit hard, potentially higher return, if and when it gets back to level playing field.
