Well put ferronium. I think some folks fail to realise that time moves forward. They're still letting the wake steer the boat on the whole concept of future energy production.
Coal will undoubtedly linger around as an energy source for decades to come, but not as a major contributor to global energy production. The writing's on the wall. Big money is starting to abandon coal! As the pace quickens, sometime in the future a critical mass will be reached where investment in coal makes no sense and cheaper alternatives are available.
