    We are now seeing the fallout from the nasty Howard years.

    The Greed is Good decade made its second coming from the 80s but this time it wasn't Gordon Gecko at the helm, it was John Howard.

    How else do you think the money class was allowed to get away with these despicable lending practices?

    Understandably, the underclasses saw how well off the money classes were and said we want that, too.

    And the big end of town - subsidising this new industry called mortgage broking - while looking down their noses offered dirty money to the poor... with the knowledge that they will get some of it back plus the asset in a short time.

    Greed under another name: Howard's Liberals.

    There's more to come out from the Horrible Howard years.

    And to think, at one time, I was confused enough to have voted for the charlatan.
