Katter hates the Greens and after Labor and the Greens signed some agreement he stated it would be very difficult for him to work with them.
That is probably when he decided to support the Coalition as that would also be difficult for him because of tensions with the Nationals.
I think the other two only made up their minds in the last few days as they assessed the offers and which side would most probably deliver. Obviously they did not trust Abbott at all and referred to his falseness during the program. I think the electorates of all three will see them in a good light after this program as it is clear their intentions were to get the best possible deal for their constituents.
