    Oakeshott has since admitted he was never a real conservative.

    As a result I'm not sure tonight's program has much relevance beyond gleaning a few clues from their words.

    Windsor for instance seemed to be leading Oakeshott with his comments and Oakeshott referenced a "gut feeling" they had been carrying for days in terms of who they were going to vote for ... so clearly they had an inkling but the show highlighted Katters obvious firming view.

    Oakeshott's remarks too indicated both he and Windsor knew of each others leaning to Labor and I'd argue Katter was only too aware without being told particularly with Windsors obvious well set distrust in the coalition.
