Well I was just thinking about my above post and I forgot to mention the gold confiscation crazies who seem to be making themselves pretty scarce these days.

But just off the top of my head here's a few topics we've reviewed over the last couple of years that were gonna send gold to the next universe with the fiscal cliff being the latest. Give me some time and I'll think of heaps more.

Have any sent gold to the moon? Of course not, it's absurd, and the fiscal cliff, which is more like a slope might send the US economy into recession in the 3rd qtr.

If the fiscal cliff is solved in the next few days it could be bad news for gold.

All the things you mention are already known, gold is up 5% for the year, stocks motoring ahead including the N225. The global economy is going OK, I've just been in Europe, housing is making a comeback in the USA, gold is teetering, down 13% in the last 15 months.

How long are you going to hang on to a losing bet?
