Running out of permutations now:
If I had to pick one, I would say that NEU are advised overnight, and the announcement to market occurs pre-open the following morning. But, we are running out of days for that.
- NEU finds out tonight and releases to market prior to open tomorrow;
- NEU finds out tonight and releases to market at the close tomorrow; this presumes they would be prepared to sit on the result for the day (unlikely), but does have the advantage of allowing the market to consider the result over the weekend before doing anything rash...either way...you only get this option once a week;
- NEU finds out tomorrow night (Friday night) and releases to the market prior to open Monday morning;
- NEU finds out outside the 60 days required by the Act, which does happen from time to time as per their own performance measures on the FDA website, and approval is tagged with additional conditions. This is the only situation where predetermined announcements and press releases would be rendered more or less useless.
All IMO.
